Our history
Recognizing the massive influx of women into the labor market, we created in 1983 a residential housekeeping service offering regular visits to respond specifically to the needs of women and the family.
By definition, housekeeping refers to the maintenance of the domestic household, which in turn serves the whole family. So by concept, Ménage-Aide is defined as a family support service.
We are ethics conscious and wish to provide our clients with a professional service. That’s why we became in 1983 a member of the “Business Ethics Office”, now called Québec Commercial Certification Office Inc. Since the very beginning of our association with this organization, it has been confirmed that Ménage-Aide was always able to demonstrate the most ethical behavior and enjoys an untouched reputation.
In 1988, we developed the concept of franchises where the franchisee must personally carry out maintenance work at their client’s premises. This concept has since been a success, with even more happy clients each passing year.
The quality of the Ménage-Aide service is essentially based on the selection and training of our franchisees and the full-time personal involvement of our franchisees with their business and their clients.
Recognized in Quebec as a leader in its field, Ménage-Aide was advertised 3 times in La Presse and 6 times in Le réseau Télémédia, CITÉ-FM and CKAC.
The Ménage-Aide network counts more than a hundred franchises grouped in the Greater Montreal Area and Quebec City.
